Volunteering at the Library

Volunteers are the heart of our library and essential for providing books and services to the community.  We have two volunteer shifts each day the library is open. Volunteers work at the front desk of the library welcoming visitors and assisting with book circulation.   Library volunteers also assist with our summer hot dog sales during Art in the Park, May - October and other special events and tasks year round.  If you are interested in volunteering, please stop by the library and speak with our library manager for more information or download our printable Membership and Volunteer Application.  Mail Application to PO Box 166, Blowing Rock, NC 28607.  You do not need to be a member to volunteer or a volunteer to be a member, although many do both.
