The Blowing Rock Community Library is a member of the Blowing Rocket Digitization Consortium working to digitize The Blowing Rocket newspaper that was first published in 1932.  Once digitized,  early issues of the newspaper will be available to the public for free with our partners at DigitalNC.org. The library has original bound issues for years 1932-1937, 1939-1942, and 1947-1949.  To learn more about the Digitization project please email Chairperson@DigitalWatauga.org
